  GPS L1+L5 antenna Working principle

  L1 band working principle: The frequency of L1 band is about 1575.42MHz, which is mainly used to transmit civil navigation signals. GPS satellites send navigation messages containing satellite position, time and other information to the receiver through the L1 band. After receiving the L1 signal, the receiver measures the time delay of signal propagation by comparing it with its own clock, and then calculates the distance between the satellite and the receiver.   L5 band working principle: The frequency of L5 band is 1176.45MHz, which is mainly used to improve positioning accuracy and reliability. L5 signals use more advanced coding and modulation methods, and have better anti-interference and penetration capabilities. In complex environments, such as urban canyons and dense forests, L5 signals can more effectively penetrate obstacles and be received by the receiver. At the same time, the L5 signal cooperates with the L1 signal to eliminate errors such as ionospheric delay, thereby improving positioning accuracy.
