  LMR-400 RF cable is LMR-400 radio frequency cable. Here is the relevant introduction:

  Structure

  From inside to outside, there are 3:

  Inner conductor: solid copper-clad aluminum wire (solid cca) is used, which can efficiently transmit electrical signals.

  Insulation layer: It is composed of foamed polyethylene (foam pe), which has the characteristics of low loss and low transmission delay. It can isolate the inner conductor from the outer conductor to ensure the quality of signal transmission.

  Shielding layer: It contains two layers of aluminum tape and tinned copper braided layer. The aluminum tape is used as the first layer of shielding, and the tinned copper braided layer is used as the outer layer of shielding. It can effectively prevent external electromagnetic interference from entering the line, and prevent the internal signal from leaking out, providing a shielding effect of more than 90dB.

  Outer sheath: Generally made of polyethylene (PE) material, it has good UV resistance, weather resistance and mechanical properties, and can protect the internal structure of the cable from mechanical damage, moisture, chemical corrosion and environmental factors.

  Characteristic impedance: 50Ω, ensuring matching connection with various RF devices and antennas, achieving efficient signal transmission, reducing reflection and loss.

  Capacitance: about 23.9pF/ft (78.4pF/m), which has a certain impact on the transmission speed and delay of the signal.

  Inductance: about 0.060μH/ft, which together with parameters such as capacitance determines the high-frequency transmission characteristics of the cable.

  Attenuation: about 3.9dB/100ft at 900MHz, the higher the frequency, the greater the attenuation, but generally it has lower attenuation characteristics among similar cables, which can ensure the signal quality during long-distance transmission.

  Propagation speed: The propagation speed is about 84% of the speed of light, that is, the signal is transmitted faster in the cable, which can meet the needs of high-speed data transmission.

  Maximum frequency: up to 8.0GHz, which can support a variety of high-frequency communication systems and applications.

  Withstand voltage: The maximum withstand voltage can reach 2500V DC.

  Operating temperature: The operating temperature range is - 40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F), and it can work stably in a wide temperature range.

  Application areas

  Wireless communication systems: such as mobile base stations, Wi-Fi, WLAN, WiMAX, etc., used to connect base stations and antennas, wireless access points and antennas, etc., which can effectively reduce signal attenuation and improve data transmission efficiency.

  Satellite communication: In equipment such as satellite ground stations, as a connecting line between antenna feeders and equipment, it ensures high-quality transmission of satellite signals.
