The key parameters of base station antennas include height, pitch angle, azimuth and position. These parameters play a decisive role in the electromagnetic coverage of base stations and are crucial for network planning and optimization.
The choice of pitch angle directly affects the signal interference and coverage range between cells. Reasonable pitch angle setting can reduce the overlap of electromagnetic wave energy between cells and reduce signal interference, while ensuring that the actual coverage range of the base station is consistent with the expected design and enhancing the signal strength of the coverage area.

Too small pitch angle will lead to a larger coverage range, causing cross-coverage of cells and signal interference; while too large pitch angle will lead to a smaller coverage range, signal blind spots or weak areas, and even change the shape of the antenna pattern, causing serious interference within the system. Therefore, reasonable setting of the pitch angle is the basic guarantee for ensuring the quality of the mobile communication network.
